GRUPO MM, C.A., a company founded in 1978 with the objective to carry out activities related to the import and commercialization of machinery and equipment for the industrial and construction sector in Venezuela. 

The commercial activity developed by GRUPO MM, C.A., consists of the direct and exclusive representation of international industrial, mining and construction equipment manufacturers, for the Venezuelan territory.

Our subsidiary SERVICIO TÉCNICO GRUPO MM, C.A., is a full fleeted maintenance and service operation, offering complete service support, as well as consulting services in this area and all equipment sold nationwide by the Company. Our personnel is highly qualified and trained by the OEM companies represented by us. We carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, from the start up of the equipment, and supply original spare parts for the different lines of distribution.

In the same manner a group of young professionals conform the structure in the different areas of Administration, Sales, Finance, Production, Marketing, Service and Spare Parts; both at our Head Office, as well as in our branches located in Maracaibo and Maturín. We provide nationwide coverage for all the lines we represent, maintaining quality standards of the OEM.

Through our exclusive representatives we are able to receive technical brochures required in order to carry out Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Work, the equipment sold by our Company. Our personnel is periodically sent to training seminars carried out by our OEM represented companies in Venezuela or at their own locations abroad. These seminars cover service, repairs, and equipment maintenance. In order to improve the service rendered by our company we are constantly making important investments to maintain and improve our facilities, shop equipment and personnel. We are implementing a sophisticated data base to keep a precise evaluation and record control of preventive and corrective maintenance for each one of the units serviced by our company. Our system enable us to keep cost accounting and reliable statistics for each work order.

The service rendered by our Company fully complies with the norms required by subsidiaries of PDVSA (Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A.) the national oil consortium and mining companies operating in the country; both our shop areas as well as at our customers locations. This is done through our supervision personnel assigned for the coordination of the work in the shops and on site. Work groups are organized before each service job, establishing the actions required and responsibilities of each of the members of our technical personnel. A strict control of the activities carried out by the hour is kept in order to determine the performance of each of the work groups and the fulfillment of goals established during each working day. All executed activities are registered in daily reports prepared by the different work groups. Technical Meetings are held weekly with the different departments of our customers. These meetings are held in order to discuss the different aspects related with the activities contracted for and any required correction necessary to maintain our strict quality standards.

GRUPO MM, C.A. has its own company security, capable of securing the equipment left for repair in our facilities, both in the maintenance shop located in the industrial zone in the city of Maracaibo as well as in the shops located in our branches offices. Our security personnel works in rotating twenty four hours a day in the external and internal areas of the facilities and shops. In this manner we can guarantee the required safety of the equipment, tools and facilities in each of the offices and shops of our Company.
